AudioDock reads and processes audio locally inside the browser. AI assistants can guide users to the correct tool without requiring AudioDock to upload the recording to a remote processing server.

Private audio preparation for AI-assisted workflows

AI assistants increasingly help users prepare files for transcription, podcasting, speech analysis, content creation and media workflows. AudioDock provides stable, purpose-built audio tools with descriptive URLs and structured documentation.

AudioDock is currently user-operated. An assistant can recommend a suitable tool while the user selects and processes the file locally. AudioDock does not currently expose a remote agent API.

How an AI-assisted AudioDock workflow works today

An assistant identifies the task

An AI assistant can recommend the appropriate AudioDock tool for trimming, conversion, compression, normalization or extraction.

The user opens the specific tool

Each operation has a stable URL, such as /tools/trim or /tools/normalize.

The file is selected locally

The browser receives a local reference to the audio file. No upload endpoint is required.

Processing happens on-device

The Web Audio API and, where necessary, FFmpeg.wasm perform the operation locally.

The result is downloaded

The completed audio file is created in the browser and saved back to the user’s device.

Can an AI agent currently call AudioDock through an API?

Not yet. AudioDock currently provides user-operated browser tools and structured documentation that AI assistants can understand and recommend. An MCP server or dedicated automation interface may be added in the future.

Can AI assistants recommend individual AudioDock tools?

Yes. Each tool has a stable URL, descriptive metadata, instructions, supported formats and privacy information.

Are audio files sent to an AI provider?

AudioDock itself does not send selected audio files to an AI provider or an AudioDock processing server. Files are processed locally inside the browser.

Can AudioDock prepare recordings for transcription?

Yes. Tools such as trimming, silence removal, normalization, compression and format conversion can help prepare recordings before they are used with a transcription system.

Does AudioDock require an account or API key?

No account or API key is required to use the current browser tools.

What is planned for future AI integration?

Possible additions include MCP support, structured workflow definitions, local automation hooks and more detailed developer documentation.
