Terms of Service
Last updated June 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of AudioDock. They are written to be read, not just signed past — plain language, no traps. By using the site, you agree to what follows.
The service
AudioDock is a collection of audio tools that run in your web browser. The tools process your files locally on your device. We provide the software and the website; you provide the files and the judgment about what to do with them.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the files you process and for having whatever rights are necessary to process them. Do not use AudioDock to handle material you are not permitted to use, or to produce anything unlawful. Because processing happens entirely on your device, you retain full control of your content — and full responsibility for it.
A fuller description of permitted and prohibited use lives in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your content stays yours
We claim no ownership of, and acquire no license to, the audio you process. We could not, even if we wanted to: your files never reach us. The output of any tool is yours to keep, share, sell, or delete as you see fit.
Intellectual property
The AudioDock name, site design, and original code are owned by their respective authors and protected by applicable law. The tools rely on open-source components, including ffmpeg.wasm, which are governed by their own licenses. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our software to you, and nothing restricts your rights under the relevant open-source licenses.
Availability and "as is"
AudioDock is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Audio processing depends on your device, your browser, and the nature of your files; we do not warrant that every operation will be flawless or that any conversion will be bit-for-bit identical to a particular reference encoder. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AudioDock and its authors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or audio. Keep a copy of your original files until you are satisfied with a result — good practice with any tool, and the simplest protection against the unexpected.
Paid plans
The core tools are free. If and when paid plans are offered, their specific terms — pricing, billing cycle, and what each tier includes — will be presented clearly at the point of purchase and governed by these terms together with our Refund Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above. Continued use of AudioDock after a change means you accept the updated terms.
